IPheions Intellectual Property is a boutique intellectual property firm established in 2008 by Steve Gilholm.
IPheions IP is located on the new eco-friendly Hawk Creative Business Park on the Hawkhills Estate outside Easingwold, near York, in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside.
Steve Gilholm has more than 25 years’ experience in all aspects of intellectual property, such as patents, trade marks, registered designs and copyright. With that extensive experience, IPheions IP can handle intellectual property in most technical areas, but the business specialises in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and food science, and other related healthcare industries.
IPheions IP aims to be a little different to most firms. The ethos of the business is to build a strong and lasting relationship with clients, the intention is to create a synergism where the whole is greater than the sum of the two parts. The business strives to provide an in depth, professional and “user friendly” service and try to avoid being too “corporate” in approach. So IPheions IP doesn’t print glossy brochures, rent expensive city centre offices and sponsor large corporate events. Clients only pay for the service that they receive.
The firm's name is taken from Ipheion uniflorum, which is a species of flowering plant from the allium subfamily and known by the common name “spring star”.
IPheions IP are proud to support The Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
IPheions IP are sponsors of The White Horse Wheelers cycling club.
